The scientific name is Coriandrum Sativum L. Commonly known as Dhania in the Indian Subcontinent or Cilantro in the Americas and some part of Europe. Corriander leaves are commonly known as cilantro. This leafy herb is used in most cuisines.Its seeds are known as coriander. Traditionally, coriander is a perennial herb. It has sweet-smelling aroma due to its tender green fruits, which when ripe, turn a brownish yellow.
